EMPOWERED WEIGHTLIFTING (Sessions will be held at Everlasting Fitness - Joppa, MD)
For women who want to re-connect with their bodies and be able to have the confidence, power and happiness they once had.
A Weekly group for women who: - want to re-connect with their bodies - increase their confidence - develop a support system of like minded women - having a brave space to talk about feelings/ obstacles/ concerns - be able to step out of their comfort zone and try something they may have never done before

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do you ever feel overwhelmed? Do you suffer from anxiety, depression or just the stress of everyday life? Studies have shown that exercise is beneficial to your mental health and allows you to work through problems that may be happening in your everyday life. Exercise can enable you to have more confidence, have better self-esteem, better sleep, more energy and stronger resilience. Exercise and proper nutrition have the ability to improve our mental health and how we feel on a day to day basis.
Being in the gym, helps us learn new things and step out of our comfort zones on a daily basis. We are able to accept that not all things come easy and hat we have to work through any of the frustrations that we may encounter. We will have the ability to process the things that are hard in our lives and be able to work through those experiences in the gym. We will work as a team to set short term and long term goals as a way to break things down and be able to achieve them in a manageable way. We can do anything that we put our minds to!
No matter what is going on in your life – whether it be anxiety, stress, depression, ADHD, trauma – exercise can be the process in which you start to work through all these things. We will be utilizing exercise and wellness as a way to cope with everyday life. Individual Sessions - $120/ 60 min session (portion of fees goes to CFE) Group Session - $40 session (must have at least 3 people) (portion of fee goes to CFE) * Intake required for all members (amended intake for current clients) *For registration for individual or group sessions, please fill out the form below
Session Outline:
15 minute discussion/ goal setting
30 minute workout – specific to help work through current stressors
15 minute debrief – goal setting for the upcoming week(s)
*Insurance may be used for this service at this time as well as out of pocket options. At this time, I only accept BCBS and Cigna. All other carriers will be out of network and invoices can be provided for potential reimbursement. *Sessions can be geared toward adults, adolescents and children
* I can work with your schedule whether it is early morning, during the day, nights or some weekend hours. Sessions can be scheduled during class times or they can be when there are no classes occurring at the gym dependent on your preference.
* Confidentiality and privacy is an important factor of this program. The information that is talked about in sessions will be kept confidential and all measures will be taken to maintain the integrity of each session.
